Walk In’s - A How To Guide
We make the walk-in experience clear, organized, and artist focused so you feel confident from the moment you step inside.
Step 1. Arrive at Dame of the West Tattoo!
Walk into our Old Town Scottsdale location and check in with our front desk. We’ll let you know which artists available that day.
Step 2. Choose Your Artist!
You’re able to choose from the artists available at the time of your visit. Each artist has a distinct style and specialty and we’re happy to guide you toward the best fit based on your idea.
Step 3. Choose Your Design!
You have two options when choosing your design.
Option A: Select From Flash
Our artists have flash sheets with hundreds of pre-drawn ready to tattoo designs available.
Option B: Bring In Your Own Idea
If you come in with a design or inspiration photos, you can select the artist whose style best matches your vision. Your artist will refine the design for proper placement, sizing and long term wear.
Step 4. Approval, Pricing and Placement!
We confirm design, pricing and placement before anything begins. No surprises, just transparency.
Step 5. Get Tattooed!
Once everything is approved, we begin! Clean, professional and focused on quality.
FAQs
Do you accept walk ins?
Absolutely! We happily take walk ins every single day. Our walk ins are organized on a first come, first serve in person basis. Just walk in the shop at your convenience and we will assist you when you get here!
Can I bring my own design?
Absolutely! Bring reference images and our artists will refine it to make it the best for tattooing.
Do you offer cover-ups?
Yes! We offer tattoo cover ups and reworks. A consultation may be required depending on size and detail.
Do you provide aftercare instructions?
Yes! After every tattoo our artists go over proper aftercare instructions to ensure ease of mind healing and care. If you need a refresher, visit our tattoo aftercare page here!
